Bird in the Ruins is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Bird in the Ruins is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.

Lost Ark: Bird in the Ruins Information & Walkthrough
After defeating the trolls that attack the camp and completing To the Forgotten Land quest. Gerka will command Morpheus to heal the wounded. You must inspect the tent and heal the Injured Adventurer. Morpheus will later lend you a HP Potion for you.
After talking to Morpheus, follow the path, break the barrier and jump on the boats on the docks. On the way, the priest will explain the importance of the Ark during a short cinematic. The ship will drop you at the Parroson Valley. Follow the arrows marked on your map and the checkpoints to advance in the map. Trolls and Elite Trolls are fairly easy to defeat. Reach 100% on the marker on the right.
Jump over the next cliff, talk to Gerka, check the entrance and talk to Gerka again. Neil, one of the party members, will lend you a bomb to blast the sealed entrance. Place the bomb near the entrance and gain distance before it blows up. The bomb will fail to break the door. A short cinematic of a light coming out from the door and come to your hand, the gate accepts you, and opens for you.
As soon as you go through it, the quest will be completed. You will automatically obtain the Old Prophecy Calls quest.
