Chaos Dungeons in Lost Ark are Dungeons with a whole new level of difficulty. Chaos Dungeons become available after completing the Ealyn's Request in North Vern. The Character Level Requirement for Chaos Dungeons is normally Lv 50. The rewards obtained from completing Chaos Dungeons are of high rarity gear and upgrade materials, Chaos Dungeons are the best way to increase the Item Level of your gear. Each Character can run 2 Chaos Dungeons per day. Chaos dungeons feature dense amounts of enemies for players to clear through, it is recommended to bring builds that enhance AOE damage to help with clearing enemies. Occasionally the portal between stages may be gold instead of blue transporting the player to a bonus zone, deal enough damage to the enemy here to receive a large amount of currency.
Lost Ark: Chaos Dungeons Difficulty
At the start of Chaos Dungeon, you start quietly at the arena. You will be able to see a Timer on the top left corner of the screen. The Timer will start running at the moment you start moving. It won't take much for you to notice how much more filled with Enemies than any other Quest or Events in Lost Ark. You must kill all the enemies in the stage before you run out of time, once you do a portal to the next stage will appear. The timer will keep going until you enter the portal. The timer will reset on each new stage, starting again at the moment you move.
Chaos Dungeons are cleared in 3 stages each increasing in difficulty. The first stage features simple enemies that players can quickly clear and advance to the second round. Run around to gather the enemies together and quickly clear the stage. Stage 2 introduces minibosses and a larger boss at the end that have to be killed to advance, stage 3 adds rift cores, large red crystals, onto the map that players have to break spawning minibosses to defeat to clear the dungeon.
Lost Ark: Chaos Dungeon Daily Limit
Players are given 100 Aura of Resonance that resets daily, 50 points are used per chaos dungeon run. When the day resets, every 50 unused points turns into 10 rest bonus that players accumulate up to a maximum of 100 points. At 20 rest bonus or more, the rest bonus is consumed to increase the amount of loot in the next Chaos Dungeon run. The rest bonus only applies to the first two chaos dungeons each day.
Players can continue to run the Chaos dungeons after they are out of Aura of Resonance but with much reduced rewards.
