Dragonscale Defense is one of the Skills in Lost Ark exclusive to the Glaivier class. Skills are abilities used in combat to deal damage or apply buff, debuff and crowd control effects to enemies and allies. Each Class has their own sets of Skills that can be leveled up and modified with the Tripod System to adjust their effects or add new ones.

First Level:
- Block attacks from the front with your spear, negating Damage up to 50.0% of your Max HP. If you successfully block an attack within 1.1s, thrust your spear forward for 430 Damage 2 times.

Vital Point Attack
Rank 1 (Max): Thrust attack always inflicts Crit Damage.
Absolute Defense
Rank 1: Block attacks that inflict Status Ailments while defending. Spear thrust Damage +20.0%.
Rank 2: Block attacks that inflict Status Ailments while defending. Spear thrust Damage +26.0%.
Rank 3: Block attacks that inflict Status Ailments while defending. Spear thrust Damage +32.0%.
Rank 4: Block attacks that inflict Status Ailments while defending. Spear thrust Damage +38.0%.
Rank 5: Block attacks that inflict Status Ailments while defending. Spear thrust Damage +45.0%.

Can be unlocked after upgrading Dragonscale Defense to Skill Lv. 10:
Enhanced Technique
Rank 1 (Max): Spear thrust attack distance +5 meters. Width +1 meter.
Attack Precision
Rank 1: Thrust once more upon countering. Outgoing Damage +50.0%.
Rank 2: Thrust once more upon countering. Outgoing Damage +57.5%.
Rank 3: Thrust once more upon countering. Outgoing Damage +65.0%.
Rank 4: Thrust once more upon countering. Outgoing Damage +74.0%.
