Lost Ark: Lamenting Road Guide
This dungeon is a linear path, all enemies must be cleared to advance into the boss areas. The bosses in this dungeon each have party wipe mechanics that all players have to be aware of when facing them. Even a single player doing the wrong thing can lead to a party wipe for these bosses so makes sure that the party learns or understands what they need to do for each boss fight.
Boss Key Mechanics:
The first boss will spin around slowly while firing off beams of lethal damage in opposite directions, they will also create an area of death for this attack either around their feet or having only the space around their feet cleared of it. If the players get a target on their head the boss will have the area of death at their feet. After a period of time red bubbles will spawn at the players feet, there will be 2 bubbles per player. Touching the red bubbles will stun the player and knock them back, during the boss mechanic this is very likely to stop your movement long enough for the boss to spin their damage beam into you. Players should walk to the top and bottom corners of the map when the targets show up on their heads to move the bubbles out of the way so that the team can have space to move to avoid the lethal damage from the boss.
The second boss comes with a party wipe mechanic where they jump to the center and then start firing off red and gold orbs in all directions. After a time they will stop firing the orbs outwards and start spawning them away and drawing them in towards them. If the boss collects enough red orbs, they will launch a damage wave that wipes the party. Players have to grab at least 3 yellow orbs from the boss to receive a golden aura, avoid the red orbs as they will reduce your orb count and turn off golden aura. When the orbs reverse direction, the golden aura is used to destroy the red orbs. Walking over the red orbs with the golden aura will destroy them after 2 strikes from the aura.

Summary of Recommendations and Tips for the Boss fights
Focus on avoiding the lethal damage from the boss when they do their mechanic as there is plenty of opportunities to do damage later. Stay away from the front of the boss as most of their attacks are front facing, especially with the stabbing attacks, giving a lot of opportunities for players to hit them from the back or sides. When a red targets appear overhead, move to the top left and bottom right of the map to get the red bubbles placed in the corners and out of the way of player movement.
Before starting the second boss fight organize where each player is going to stand around the boss during their mechanic to collect the golden orbs as well as destroy the red orbs. Collect as many golden orbs as you can as that will make the aura larger and make it easier to destroy the red orbs. During the fight watch for when the boss jumps into the air, keep moving to dodge the lightning strikes so that the boss does not get the shield and stagger bar reset.

Boss Mechanics:
- Stun Bubbles: The Boss creates 5 huge red bubbles around them, touching the red bubbles will stun the player and knock them back.
- Jump back: Boss quickly jumps back a large distance, often followed with the spin attack
- Cone attack: The boss raises his sword then stabs it into the ground in front of them firing off a cone shaped attack in the direction
- Jump attack: The boss jumps straight up into the air then stabs their sword down with a cone attack
- Triple stab attack: Triple stab attack: The boss jumps in the air then stabs into the ground, damaging in front of them in a single column. They then stab again shooting off 2 columns in the same direction with 1 column of space apart, and again with the columns even further apart.
- Spin attack: The boss does a spin attack, rapidly dashing forward while spinning. This attack leaves behind a series of red balls, each firing a beam to the sides of the dash direction.
- Orb attack: Boss fires a slow moving red orb that fires off normal red orbs in random directions
- Cross shape orb attack: The boss summons 4 orbs in a cross pattern, each orb fires a beam towards the boss.
- Double Melee attack: The boss swings their sword in front of them twice
- Orb wave attack: Similar to the orb attack, the boss summons orbs in random positions and the orbs then fire beams towards the boss.
Key Mechanic:
The boss will run to the center of the room then slowly spin around while launching beams from both hands, the beam does huge amounts of damage on contact, after a while the boss will spin in the opposite direction. When this mechanic starts the boss will create a lethal danger zone either around their feet or everywhere but their feet. When the danger zone is at their feet, players will get a red target on their head that spawn red bubbles after a delay, 2 bubbles spawn per player. The bubbles will stun and knock players back and can cause deaths due to restricting player movement when avoiding the beams during this phase.
Strategy:
Stay away from the front of the boss, many of their attacks are towards the direction they are facing. When the boss is doing its triple stabbing attack they will be stationary and attacking in one direction, presenting a good opportunity to deal damage to them. Move slowly with the boss when they are rotating during their mechanic and save your skills for afterwards when it is less dangerous to move. When the red target is on you move to the edges of the map to get the bubbles to spawn away from the boss and away from players. The arena is long so there is more space in the top left and bottom right of the map to place bubbles out of the way.

Boss Mechanics:
- Triple melee attack: Boss swings their sword 3 times
- Spinning red circles: The boss summons a red circle behind them then swings it in front of them, spawning a series of red circles that move away from the boss dealing damage on contact
- Beam attack: The boss points their sword in a direction, a red line is shown before the beam attack is fired, knocking up players who get hit
- Stationary spin attack + Ring of spike: The boss moves their sword behind them then spins it around them with a spin attack, they then jump up. On landing they create a ring of spikes a distance from the boss, knocking players up on hit.
- Wide cone attack: The boss fires a cone attack in 1 direction
- Wide sword attack with orbs: The boss swings the sword in a wide arc in a direction, leaving small damaging orbs that fly towards the boss
- Stagger check attack: The boss attacks 1 90 degree cone at a time, hitting everything in that direction then rotating and attacking again. If players fail the stagger check the boss will use a large AOE knock up attack
- Jump + Lightning attack: The boss will jump into the air and rain lightning down from the sky. If lightning hits a player, the player is stunned and the boss will teleport to them and deal damage to them. If the attack lands the boss will gain a shield and also an aura is created around the boss that deals damage to those standing in it.
Key Mechanic:
Boss teleports to the center of the map then fire off a small pulse of damage around them that will knock players back. The boss will start firing off red and gold orbs in all directions. After a time, the boss will stop firing the orbs outwards and instead start spawning orbs away from them and draw them in. If the boss collects enough red orbs they will launch a damage wave that wipes the party. Players have to grab golden orbs to generate a golden aura that appears once they have collected 3 orbs, collecting more orbs makes the aura larger while collecting red orbs will reduce the aura size and can remove the aura. The golden aura will allow players to destroy the red orbs that fly towards the boss, it takes 2 strikes from the aura to destroy the orbs.
Strategy:
Organize before the fight what positions around the boss players should take for when the boss starts its mechanic, one for each cardinal direction is usually the easiest way to do this. This helps to spread players out and get good coverage for both collecting the golden orbs as well as to destroy the red orbs after.
When the boss disappears into the air make sure to keep moving about to avoid the lightning attack. Having this attack connect slows down the fight considerably due to both the shield as well as the damaging zone at the boss's feet that keeps melee characters away. Failing the stagger check does some damage and knocks up players that might lead to a second attack from the boss landing but otherwise simply walking out of range of the attack then continue the fight.
