On the Border is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. On the Border is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.
With this Serpentine Jade, we should be able to treat those suffering from the plague.
Lost Ark: On the Border Information & Walkthrough
After obtaining the Serpentine Jade from the dungeon in Aquilok's Tail, you would need to go to Regria Monastery and deliver the Serpentine Jade to Father Armen. Once you reach the area, speak to him, he'll say that the Serpentine Jade should help in treating the ones suffering from the plague. He then says he'll begin treatment right away and you can let him handle things here.
After your conversation, a cutscene will occur where Armen uses the Serpentine Jade to cure one of the priests that was suffering from the plague. The priest thanks Armen, Armen then says that both of you are headed to Yudia in search of the Ark and that Father Varut said that you should be looking for the Morai Ruins, he asks the priest if he has any knowledge about this. The priest said that it was once the capital of Encavia, right up until it sank. He believes the nomads of the Salt Desert would know more about this since their ancestors came from Encavia. The priest advises you to obtain the Tome of the Pilgrim from Brother Alred before you set out, he believes it would be useful for this journey.
After the cutscene, speak to Armen once again, he will ask you to travel to Yudia to look for a way to get to Morai Ruins and says that he'll follow you once he's done purging the plague. Now talk to Brother Alred, he will give you information about Yudia, he also says that he sent word to the caravan and you can board near the border watch and head to Yudia.
After that, open your map, you'll see a place called Border Post, there should be a Triport located there, you can fast travel to a Triport once you've activated it once. After reaching the area, make your way across the border and a cutscene will occur where it'll show you ride a caravan and take you to Saland Hill.
After the cutscene, the quest is completed and you'll automatically obtain the next main quest Looking for the Nomads.
