Pets in Lost Ark are different types of animals or creatures that players' characters can have following them around. Pets are more than a cosmetic companion, their main skill is to automatically collect all the loot available, preventing players from having to click or pass through it to obtain it. Note that you need to be in a certain range of loot for the pets to be able to obtain it.
Besides that, Pets also provides players with buffs.
You can change your pet name by clicking on the Pencil icon, in the pet inventory menu.
Lost Ark Pets Basic Information
Where can I get a Pet?
The easiest way for players to obtain a Pet is by heading to the in-game store and selecting the pets slide. Pets cost 1,400. There are also other ways during the course of the game to obtain them. Such as completing certain Quests. You can get one during your stay in Prideholme.
Pets Basic Stats
Give your Pets an ability to automatically pick up nearby items. You can customize and filter what do you want your Pet to pick up by clicking boxes such as currency, gear and items, materials, etc. By default, your Pet will pick up everything that is possible.
This is one of the most important quality of life improvements that having a pet at your side gives.
Pet Management NPC
Pet Management NPCs allow you to retrain your pets' Effects. Select the Pet Effect you want to change and by paying 7 Crystals, you can reroll it or change it altogether. There are five different Defensive effects and six different offensive effects. The amount of bonus the ability grants you is also rerolled.

Pet Effects
Pet Effects are passive buffs that Pets grant the player. You need to pay 120 Crystals to activate Pet Effects. Once you do, these effects last for 30 days. Even if you change Pets during that timeframe, if you already paid the activation fee, Pet Effects will still be working.
- You obtain Pet Effects randomly when you first register your pet.
- You can change Pet Effects from pet management NPCs
- Pet Effects can only be applied when they are activated.
- If you dismiss a Pet, its Pet effect is not applied.
Pet Functions
Pets grant 8 Pet Functions, that You also need to pay 120 Crystals to activate these features.
- Pet Inventory. A separate inventory for your pet.
- Remote Storage. Allows you to access your storage and your account storage from anywhere.
- Market and Auction House. They can be used after reaching Combat Level 30.
- Remote Mail. Allows you to check and send mails from anywhere.
- Remote Repair. Allows you to repair your gear from anywhere.
- Repair Trade Skill Tool
- Gem. You must complete the quest Great Report.
