Surge Cannon is one of the Skills in Lost Ark used by the Gunlancer class. Skills are abilities used in combat to deal damage or apply buff, debuff and crowd control effects to enemies and allies. Each Class has their own sets of Skills that can be leveled up and modified with the Tripod System to adjust their effects or add new ones.
Lost Ark Surge Cannon Skill Information
First Level:
- Compress the energy using the exploder on your weapon, then propel it out in front of you.
If the energy is not fully compressed, inflict 385 Damage and push foes away. When fully compressed, inflict 770 Damage and knock back foes.

After reaching the required level thresholds for the Surge Cannon Skill, you can unlock the following Tripods:

Can be unlocked after upgrading Surge Cannon to Skill Lv. 4:
Piercing Shot
Rank 1: On hit, ignore foe Defense by 40.0%.
Rank 2: On hit, ignore foe Defense by 47.2%.
Rank 3: On hit, ignore foe Defense by 54.8%.
Rank 4: On hit, ignore foe Defense by 62.4%.
Rank 5: On hit, ignore foe Defense by 70.0%.
Scatter Shot
Rank 1: Shoots iron pellets in all four directions. No longer knocks back foes. Attacks in a cone-shape in a 20% broader area. Inflicts +30.0% Damage to Named or lower foes.
Rank 2: Shoots iron pellets in all four directions. No longer knocks back foes. Attacks in a cone-shape in a 20% broader area. Inflicts +37.5% Damage to Named or lower foes.
Rank 3: Shoots iron pellets in all four directions. No longer knocks back foes. Attacks in a cone-shape in a 20% broader area. Inflicts +45.0% Damage to Named or lower foes.
Rank 4: Shoots iron pellets in all four directions. No longer knocks back foes. Attacks in a cone-shape in a 20% broader area. Inflicts +52.5% Damage to Named or lower foes.
Rank 5: Shoots iron pellets in all four directions. No longer knocks back foes. Attacks in a cone-shape in a 20% broader area. Inflicts +60.0% Damage to Named or lower foes.
High Explosive Shot
Rank 1: The bombarding attack immediately fires one more cannonball that travels 2 meters forward and causes a circular. This additional cannonball creates the Weak Point Lv. 1 effect. Inflicts +50.0% Damage to Challege or Higher foes.
Rank 2: The bombarding attack immediately fires one more cannonball that travels 2 meters forward and causes a circular. This additional cannonball creates the Weak Point Lv. 1 effect. Inflicts +62.5% Damage to Challege or Higher foes.
Rank 3: The bombarding attack immediately fires one more cannonball that travels 2 meters forward and causes a circular. This additional cannonball creates the Weak Point Lv. 1 effect. Inflicts +75.0% Damage to Challege or Higher foes.
Rank 4: The bombarding attack immediately fires one more cannonball that travels 2 meters forward and causes a circular. This additional cannonball creates the Weak Point Lv. 1 effect. Inflicts +87.5% Damage to Challege or Higher foes.
Rank 5: The bombarding attack immediately fires one more cannonball that travels 2 meters forward and causes a circular. This additional cannonball creates the Weak Point Lv. 1 effect. Inflicts +100.0% Damage to Challege or Higher foes.
Tripod Level II
Can be unlocked after upgrading Surge Cannon to Skill Lv. 7:
Precise Barrage
Rank 1: Reduces size of Perfect Zone. Perfect Zone Damage +45.0%.
Rank 2: Reduces size of Perfect Zone. Perfect Zone Damage +52.0%.
Rank 3: Reduces size of Perfect Zone. Perfect Zone Damage +59.0%.
Rank 4: Reduces size of Perfect Zone. Perfect Zone Damage +67.0%.
Rank 5: Reduces size of Perfect Zone. Perfect Zone Damage +75.0%.
Confirmed Attack
Rank 1 (Max): Changes to Normal mode and shortens the time required to reach Perfect Zone.
Overcharge
Rank 1: Changes to Charge mode. Charge Level 1 creates the Perfect Zone effect. Overcharge Damage +65.0%.
Rank 2: Changes to Charge mode. Charge Level 1 creates the Perfect Zone effect. Overcharge Damage +73.0%.
Rank 3: Changes to Charge mode. Charge Level 1 creates the Perfect Zone effect. Overcharge Damage +82.0%.
Rank 4: Changes to Charge mode. Charge Level 1 creates the Perfect Zone effect. Overcharge Damage +91.0%.

Rank 1: Spin 360 degrees, bombarding 4 times. On hit, cooldown is -1.0s. Max of 15.0s.
Rank 2: Spin 360 degrees, bombarding 4 times. On hit, cooldown is -1.2s. Max of 16.5s.
Rank 3: Spin 360 degrees, bombarding 4 times. On hit, cooldown is -1.4s. Max of 18.0s.
Rank 4: Spin 360 degrees, bombarding 4 times. On hit, cooldown is -1.7s. Max of 19.5s.
Rank 5: Spin 360 degrees, bombarding 4 times. On hit, cooldown is -2.0s. Max of 21.0s.
Focus Fire
Rank 1: Bombard frontal foes 4 times in a row. Total Damage +55.0%.
Rank 2: Bombard frontal foes 4 times in a row. Total Damage +62.8%.
Rank 3: Bombard frontal foes 4 times in a row. Total Damage +70.5%.

how do you get the skill unlocked ? i used my boost on gunlancer and he is 50 but i dont have the skill
Confirmed attack also increases attack speed by reducing the time needed to reach perfect zone, as well as being automatic perfect zone.
Was really hoping to find some in-depth looks into scatter shot and if it actually counts as many hits, for the use on enemies with (per)hit shields/hp I.E. Tookies.
