Varut's Gift is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Varut's Gift is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.

Lost Ark: Varut's Gift Information & Walkthrough
For this quest, all you need to to is mount your first horse. First, open your inventory by pressing "I" and right-click on the mount in front of the cathedral to register it to your Mount Inventory. Now view the list of mounts by pressing "Alt+V" outside the cathedral. Then, press Mount ior add to a Quickslot to get on the horse.
Once you've completed the objective, the quest is completed and you automatically obtain the next main quest Legends and Fairytales.
