Quests in Lost Ark are the main way of obtaining Experience Points. There are different types of Quests that you can undertake. Some of them progress the story forward, while others are side quests or errands you complete to earn experience points or some interesting rewards.
Completing Quests is the best way to reach Level 55, the level cap in Lost Ark. In order to complete Quests that grant interesting rewards and a good amount of experience, you must always consider the difficulty of the quest you are about to accept. Otherwise, you will repeatedly fail the hardest quests, or you will obtain useless rewards and mediocre experience for completing easy quests.
Quest Journal
You can check all your unlocked Quests by opening your Quest Journal. In case you have too many Quests available, you can Pin or Unpin the Quests you want updated on your screen as you complete their objectives. There are also some filters and information.
Item Level & Rewards
Every Quest has an associated Item Level; this means that the difficulty of any Quest will depend more on the rarity of your Equipment than the Level of your Character. On the other hand, the higher the Quest Item Level is, the rarer the reward is going to be. This also applies to the Enemies' drops and the loot in the Location related to the Quest.
Prologue in Lost Ark
At the beginning of your Lost Ark playthrough, you will start at the Prologue, which is also the first tutorial of the game. The tutorial is easy enough and no walkthrough is necessary to complete. The path is pretty linear and even though there are some choices that you can make, none of them are relevant enough to give them a lot of thought. The Tutorial takes about 30 minutes to complete, and you cannot skip it. Right after completing the tutorial, you will be free to roam around the Lost Ark world or start new Quests. The Prologue is an introduction to the game mechanics, such as Looting & Exploring, Combat against Special Enemies and a Mini-Boss.
Note: On previous versions of the game, each Class had a separate Prologue, in a separate Location and different Enemies, but now all Classes' Prologues are merged together.
All Quests in Lost Ark
Main Quests in Lost Ark, are the Quests related to the main story, and their completion is required to advance in order to complete the game. However it is recommended to complete other Quests and not follow a 'Main Quests Only' path. By completing side Quests you will be able to claim the rewards and experience that you will later find very useful for the completion of the Main Quests, but also you would miss a lot of interesting game content.
Lost Ark: Unlock Content
Main Quests are connected to other Quests, that will lead you to eventually at least know about all the features in Lost Ark. Whenever you find out that some feature is locked or you don't have access to it, surely you will be able to unlock it and gain access to it by simply completing more Main Quests. You can also check the Event Requirements, maybe your Character does not meet the Level or Item Level requirement to unlock it.
Lost Ark Main Quests
You will be introduced to the first tutorial level where you must test and choose your Advanced Class, you'll have to complete some Quests as part of the Prologue to learn some basic mechanics of the game. But if you don't like tutorial or introduction, or maybe you are starting a new quest with another character, you can still Skip the Prologue, clicking on the 'Skip Prologue' button at the button left corner of your screen.
