Guide Quests in Lost Ark are usually obtained by completing Main Quests. Guide Quests introduce the player to new mechanics of the game. Sometimes these mechanics are locked until you obtain the corresponding Guide Quest to unlock it. It's important to complete all the side Quests to get to know all the content that Lost Ark has to offer. Some features are vital for the completion of the game, like Sailing, and it's unlocked with a Guide Quest. Other features like Dungeons and Raids are challenges that grant very valuable rewards that will help you increase your Item Level, but these challenges are not mandatory for the completion of the game.
