Bandit Road is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Bandit Road is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.

Lost Ark: Bandit Road Information & Walkthrough
You start off this quest by speaking to Gus located near the Burnt Encampment within Saland Hill. Once you speak to him, he'll tell you that Bagin wanting him to come to the north side sounds like a crazy idea since there are bandits roaming everywhere, but you inform him that you've already got rid of them on your way here. He realizes there are just a few of them left and says that he'll head straight to where Baogin is once he's finished things up here. He then informs you that the nomads are currently at the Salt Works and says that the situation there isn't good either because of the bandits, he also tells you to get rid of the bandits you come across along the way.
Now head over to Salt Works and eliminate 15 Whitesand Bandits you see along the way. Open your map and you'll see an orange icon indicating where Salt Works is located. After you defeat the bandits, look for Nomad Leader Baldi and speak to him. He thanks you for driving the bandits away from the area,, he then gives you an item, this item that he'll give you will depend on which class you've chosen. After your conversation with him, the quest is completed and you'll automatically obtain the next main quest Salt Works.
