Gathering Clues is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Gathering Clues is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.
If your destination is Yudia, it will be a long journey across the borders.
Lost Ark: Gathering Clues Information & Walkthrough
After your conversation with Father Varut from the previous quest Tablet of Revelations, you start off this quest by talking to Armen. He says that it will be a long journey for you to travel to Yudia, but the horse Stonemason Kahan gave you will make it somehow easier. He then informs you that he talked to a merchant named Edma at Traveler's Nook to arrange a trade and that he'll give you directions to Yudia. He says that now he'll be meeting up with Priestess Garoa on Ankumo Mountain and tells you to join him on the mountains once you've finished everything here.
Now leave the cathedral and exit Prideholme Village to return to Loghill. Once you've reached Loghill, open your map and follow the main quest icon, it should lead you to Traveler's Nook where Edma currently is. When you reach the area, approach Edma and speak to him. He then gives you the directions for Yudia and tells you that once you pass Ankumo Mountains, you'll arrive at the wide open salt plains and that's how you'd know you're in Yudia. He also warns you about the large and terrifying monsters residing near the border so it's best to be careful and ask help from the guards there. He also suggests to ride a horse to get there since it'll be a long journey.
After your conversation with Edma, the quest ends, and you'll automatically obtain the next main quest Mountain of the Singing Wind.
