Song of Valor is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Song of Valor is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.
So you're the one who saved Prince Thirain. Your reputation precedes you. Ha-ha!
Lost Ark: Song of Valor Information & Walkthrough
You start the quest by speaking to Training Captain Mak, just follow the main quest icon presented on your map and it should lead you to the Training Grounds where he's located. Upon speaking to him, he immediately recognizes you as the adventurer who saved Prince Thirain. He then says that the training is already done, the only problem with these soldiers are their morale and there's nothing like music to cheer up these soldiers. He then instructs you to check on Maller and make him play some music for the soldiers to boost their morale.
Now go over to Maller and ask him to play some music. Maller says that he has a sore throat so he can't play his trumpet and explains he has a terrible cold. He then asks you to fetch him some herbs, he heard the silver bush leaves are particularly effective for this type of cold. Now go towards the orange icon presented on your map and collect some silver bush herbs. After collecting the herbs, deliver them to Maller. Now he says he feels a little better. He then proceeds to explain the Song of Valor, the National Anthem of Luterra. After your conversation, a cutscene plays out where Maller uses his trumpet to play the Song of Valor to help increase the morale of the soldiers.
After the cutscene plays out, speak to Maller again. He says if you liked the song, you can learn it yourself. Now press "I" to open the Inventory Window and right-click Song of Valor. Now report back to Mak afterwards. He then says that Prince Thirain is currently at the Rear Outpost and instructs you to tell him that the training is complete. After your conversation with Mak, the quest is completed and you automatically obtain the next main quest To Lakebar.
