Serpent's Lair is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Serpent's Lair is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.

Lost Ark: Serpent's Lair Information & Walkthrough
To start off this quest, you would need to help the Border Guards at Aquilok's Head, when you're in the area, the game will prompt that you're about to enter a dungeon, click "Enter" to proceed.
Upon entering the dungeon, head over and talk to Border Guard Posenta. After speaking to the border guard, you would need to exterminate the Plague Pest Swarms preying on the wounded soldiers. The percentage on your objective HUD should reach 100% for you to be able to proceed with the next objective. After completing that, follow the objective icon presented on your map to search inside Aquilok's Head. Once you head deeper inside the dungeon, you will need to eradicate 5 Plague Pouches in the Plague Farm. Each pouch should be presented on your map.
After destroying the PLague Pouches, enter the cave. Now you'll have to defeat the Plague Legion Demons blocking your path. Again, it has to reach 100% before you can proceed. After that follow the next objective icon where it will lead you deeper within the cave. Once you head deeper, you will be tasked to eliminate 16 Mera Snakes at the dead end and then 10 more beyond the collapsed wall.
After defeating the Mera Snakes from the area, follow the next objective icon and jump down into the Mera Snake den. Now you'll have to exterminate 15 Mera Snakes at the den. Once you've cleared out the den, follow the passageway while removing 7 Plague Pouches. You'll then need to exterminate 3 Mera Snakes guarding the Plague Farm and then you can proceed to enter the farm.
Upon entering the Plague Farm, you'll be tasked to defeat the Demons within and remove 8 Plague Pouches. Once that's done, you will need to find the source of the plague. Once you reach the objective, a cutscene will occur. Now you'l have to stop the growth of the plague masses and defeat the Plaguebringer. After defeating the Plaguebringer, another cutscene will occur.
After the cutscene, the quest is completed and you'll automatically obtain the next main quest They Will Be Remembered.
