Aregal Salt Plains is a Main Quest in Lost Ark. Aregal Salt Plains is part of the main story of Lost Ark and it is necessary to complete it in order to complete the game. However, it is recommended to complete some non Main Quests of your choice to gain additional equipment and level up in order to make Main Quests easier by being better equipped and prepared. Completing Main Quests will eventually lead you to unlock new features of the game and gain a full experience of it.

Lost Ark: Aregal Salt Plains Information & Walkthrough
Once you've reached the Aregal Salt Plains, you can start off this quest by talking to the three nomads in the area. The first one you'll encounter on your path will be the Escaped Nomad, the next two, the Terrified Nomad and the Guarding Nomad will be located as you make your way through the road ahead. You will also see three quest icons on your map indicating the location of these nomads.
After that, you should assess the situation by seeking the nomads nearby and speak to Nomad Revil in the area. When asked about Shaman Thunder, Revil replied that Thunder was kidnapped by the bandits, and a lot of other people as well who came to the area for the gathering. Revil says he's lucky, Lokon and Bharat helped him escape. Lokon and Bharat were once bandits but they've changed their ways and decided to help them. He then asks if you could find Lokon, he went to see what the bandits are planning next.
Now you need to find and speak to Bandit Deserter, Lokon. The main quest icon presented on your map should lead you straight to him. Once you reach Lokon, he explains that he used to be a bandit and that he may not be a good guy, but he refuses to ransom innocent people. He says that the shaman might be one of the captives. He says that you should hurry up if you want to save her, since his old boss, Dadan is furious at her. He also tells you to let the old man Reoff at the nomad camp know if you're going to rescue the captives, since Reoff doesn't really like talking to Lokon since he was an ex-bandit.
After your conversation with Lokon, the quest is completed and you will automatically obtain the next main quest Raid and Rescue.
